HIPAA Notice

Draft — pending legal review. This page is placeholder copy and has not been reviewed by counsel.

This notice explains, in plain language, how HealthArmor AI relates to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). It is a draft placeholder pending review by qualified legal counsel and should not be relied upon as legal advice or a final compliance statement.

HIPAA is your obligation, not a vendor certification

If your organization is a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, compliance with the HIPAA Security Rule, Privacy Rule, and Breach Notification Rule is your legal obligation. No software vendor, including HealthArmor AI, can be compliant with HIPAA on your behalf, or certify your organization as compliant.

How HealthArmor AI helps

HealthArmor AI is designed to help covered entities and business associates meet their HIPAA Security Rule obligations — through continuous monitoring, anomaly detection, and reporting mapped to the Rule's Administrative, Physical, and Technical Safeguards. This helps support, but does not replace, your organization's own compliance program, risk analysis, and policies.

Business Associate Agreements

Where HealthArmor AI's platform processes Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of a customer, that relationship is intended to be governed by a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) between HealthArmor AI and the customer, consistent with HIPAA requirements.

No guarantee against breaches

No security product or service can guarantee the elimination of cybersecurity risk. HealthArmor AI is designed to reduce and help manage risk, consistent with industry and FTC guidance on honest security marketing language, not to promise an absence of incidents.
